Linguine
Long small tongues, from where the name derives, the linguine have an elliptical section and a particular rough consistency.
They bring to my mind Giuliana, a lady with a contagious laugh that used to come on vacation here in the Marche region, and that on the beach she used to make our mouth water talking about her linguine with pesto “avvantaggiato” ( a condiment made with pesto and the addition of potatoes and green beans ).
